Grand Hotel, Birmingham

The refurbishment of this Grade II* listed hotel in the centre of Birmingham commenced in 2010 with Listed Building Consent being carefully negotiated with English Heritage and the local authority conservation team. Creating a 177 bedroom hotel, the project includes restoring the grand ballroom, known as the Grosvenor Room, while adding meeting and function rooms, an executive lounge, hotel restaurant, lounge bar, cocktail bar and screening room. This complex mixed-use development also includes offices, retail units, speciality restaurant and a micro-brewery.
