The refurbishment of three Grade II listed houses, originally designed in the 1960s by well-known architect Michael Powers, included upgrading bathrooms and kitchens along with all windows and doors. The exterior brickwork was cleaned and repaired, and insulation added to the cavity walls, with the renovation significantly improving the environmental performance of the buildings. Along with restoring the interiors to near their original intent, this created a unique development that supports modern living standards while being sympathetic to historic context.
