The University of Birmingham Frankland and Harding buildings were the subject of a joint feasibility study in 2015. The Harding Law Library was refurbished in the 1970’s to increase the number of reader spaces and shelf space with the introduction of a mezzanine floor into the former double height space. This was re-planned to provide a suite of study spaces, while the top floor provides a moot court, and translation & interpretation facilities for Law and Modern Languages students. Work was completed for the Spring Term 2018.
