Oxford School of Drama

A new building in a rural setting, comprising two studios and teaching space, a new storage block and conversion of an existing studio into offices. A building form was developed which would be low key and in sympathy with the existing farm surroundings: this entailed using matching materials of stone, stained timber etc. The result is essentially a new barn, but with modern details such as a frameless glass entrance screen and an architectural steel and timber staircase.

We are currently working on a second phase of this project.
