Oxford Town Hall: Masterplan
Berman Guedes Stretton’s masterplan for Oxford’s listed Town Hall site, (the largest parcel of real estate in central Oxford outside the University), was extremely well received by Oxford´s councillors, officers and the community. Public presentations of the proposals were held across the city, which led to Director, Alan Berman being invited to chair ´Oxford - Places for People´ a group intended to spearhead initiatives to bring Oxford’s urban realm up to world class standards.
The feasibility study addressed the problems of improving security, pedestrian and disabled access to Oxford Town Hall and identified commercial opportunities for the site while preserving and enhancing the significant heritage of the buildings.
