Imperial College: Bio-Inspired Technologies Laboratory
The Winston Wong Centre for Bio-inspired Technology is inventing, developing and demonstrating human-centred systems to meet global challenges in health care and well-being, by mimicking living systems effectively and efficiently to create innovative and advanced technologies.
This project consolidated the department into one zone, by swapping the location of the Bio-Photonics laboratory and Laboratory for Therapeutic Devices. This allowed the formation of a new entrance screen and access doors directly off the lift lobby, giving the department its own ´front door´. Furthermore, it allowed the Diagnostics and Monitoring Lab and Micropower Test Lab to combine as one facility with easy access to the Anechoic Chamber.
