Weatherall Institute of Molecular Medicine

Phased development of medical research buildings for the University of Warwick. Flexible teaching laboratories for 150 undergraduates, together with associated preparation areas, a computer suite, offices and changing facilities were provided in phase one.

Eight research laboratories arranged over two floors were provided in phase two, together with offices occupying the lower ground floors. A central atrium space provides an interaction area and links the building with the original biosciences building to the rear.

The Leicester Warwick Medical School was developed in phase three and features a 200 seat high-tech lecture theatre allowing video broadcasts to other Universities. Other facilities include a suite of flexible seminar rooms and a large research/library area.
