Old Bank Hotel
Conversion of a group of 16th and 17th century listed buildings into a contemporary 44 bedroom hotel in Oxford´s historic High Street.
Berman Guedes Stretton was commissioned for this project following the successful refurbishment of the Old Parsonage Hotel for the same client.
The original buildings were of varying floor-to-ceiling heights, room sizes and circulation patterns. These were integrated into one cohesive building. The first to fourth floors were converted into bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms while the ground floor became a 160-cover restaurant. Kitchens, stores and staff areas are situated on the ground and basement levels.
